The Last Nation Unveil Uplifting New Single ‘You’re Better Than Yesterday’

The Last Nation, a globally collaborative music project, have released their latest single, “You’re Better Than Yesterday.”

With vocals by Jaime Arin, a renowned performer from Los Angeles, the track showcases the diverse talents of producers Jeanway, a Mexican DJ and music producer, and Tom Davidson, an EDM producer from Israel. Fernando Torres Barradas, from Veracruz, Mexico, serves as the general producer and coordinator of the project.

The group’s creative process is entirely remote, allowing team members from various countries to collaborate efficiently without the need for travel.

Their productions combine a variety of musical influences, including pop, EDM, phonk, and alternative music, drawing inspiration from video game soundtracks like The Legend of Zelda and artists such as Porter Robinson, Madonna, and Billie Eilish.

“You’re Better Than Yesterday” began as a track called “Better Than Yesterday,” originally produced in Israel by Tom Davidson. After analysing the reception and feedback, the team decided to rework the song, adding vocals and refining the production. Jeanway, one of their most reliable collaborators, played a significant role in shaping the new version.

The song promotes self-esteem and positivity, encouraging listeners to stay optimistic even when things don’t go as planned. Lyrics like “don’t you worry about the little things, nothing will matter in time you’ll see…” capture the song’s uplifting message, set against a backdrop of summer vibes and a happy mood.

Despite the project’s growing popularity, The Last Nation has yet to perform live. However, they aim to organize events in the future, much like the virtual concerts of Hatsune Miku, to connect with their audience.

The Last Nation’s journey began with creating lofi chill beats, and they have since evolved to produce songs with vocals and lyrics. They are currently working on their first full album with vocals, titled Falling Forever, slated for release next year.
