Described as “a London duo with a hushed, subdued sound”, The Linedots‘ new song “Indigo” begins like a simple keyboard track yet quickly evolves and maintains a soft, enchanting melody throughout. The lack of layered instruments helps punctuate Evangeline Ling‘s gentle – and sometimes haunting – vocals.
The song always seemed to end sooner than it should, which provoked countless replays; it’s comforting and easy to lose yourself whilst listening.
The Linedots released their debut single “Small Talk” earlier this year, which carries a similar softness combined with cute-sounding electronics.
