If you think that you’ve already seen everything regarding jeans and denim, you’re wrong.
Paris-bases fashion brand Vetements know how to think outside the box and get its outfits noticed. Right from the start, Vetements presented subversive pieces – like cigarette lighter stilettos and DHL tees – and have now hit the fashion scene with its butt-baring jeans.
The pair was created in collaboration with Levi’s and has a real zipper right down the back seam, which literally gives you the chance to show some skin. This project was presented last year but didn’t get much buzz because the zippers had a purely decorative role and firmly done up.
It’s sure to say that wearers will wear this pair of jeans in the proper way, but we like how Vetements works to stand out from the crowd, even with a cheecky attitude.
