If any singular band deserves a documentary, it’s got to be The Postal Service. Releasing only one album yet garnering an ever growing following and constant demand for more tours, albums, anything really; the band could, on a “clutching at straws level” be described as an indie/electronic Sex Pistols. 2013 saw debut and only album Give Up’s 10th birthday, sparking a re-released deluxe album and subsequent tours with immediate hype and hope (mainly on my behalf) for an LP, this documentary however is the next best thing. Directed by Justin Mitchell, the film will be a series of interviews by Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard and DNTEL’s Jimmy Tamborello who make up the “service” along with backstage footage and live performances. Watch a clip for Everything Will Change below, the film will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 24.
