Following the release of their fantastic compilation album, The Who Hits 50!, the 60’s rock’n’rollers will be taking their sound to one of the biggest venues of the country next year. Wembley Stadium, being their choice of stage, is where they’re set to play their first UK show since Roger Daltrey‘s illness led to the band to postponing their US tour.
Celebrating fifty years since the creation of this hit making super band, Daltrey said “Who’d have thought that fifty years on from from first playing at Wembley Arena with the Beatles and many of the top groups of that time, The Who would once again play at this legendary venue. It’s great to be feeling much better after my illness. I’ll be fighting fit by then and I can’t wait to get back to work“.
