Ahead of the release of their new album Glitterbug and the release of previous tracks “Greek Tragedy” and “Emoticons”, The Wombats have unveiled a new video for their latest track “Give Me A Try”. In the newest video released by the band, things get a little bit Tinder, as the video tells the story of suitors trying their best to persuade and woo the person browsing their dating profile in the hope that their potential lover might, just give them a try.
The band’s Matthew Murphy said in a recent interview: “I really love that song. It’s special to me because it has a far more positive outlook than what you’ve heard from us in the past”. “Give Me A Try” is set to be released on the 13th of April, which should be considered a double touch down as it’s also the date the band’s new album Glitterbug is released. The new video directed by Max Weiland is available for your viewing pleasure bellow. The band also have an mass ogre of live dates scheduled, including a sold out UK tour and a number of festivals.
