Emerging franco-american singer THÉA is making the debut of her own songwriting with her personal new track “Times of My Life”. Through music, she navigates back to her childhood “when responsibilities were just that little bit simpler“.
Music has always been part of her, since she grew up in a vibrant musical environment between her mom’s Gospel and her dad’s love for jazz. She developed a strong interest in soul music. By performing on stage, THÉA has also discovered a deep passion for performance and composition throughout years. This desire made her move to London in 2017 to study songwriting, where she is now performing most of her shows with her THÉA FULL BAND formed only in 2018.
Purity and simplicity are the main words to describe this little piece of art by THÉA. Her voice shines over the background vocal, smoothing slowly on the tunes of the acoustic guitar which accompanies her with soul vibes over the drums. She projects her past life as a child with a natural empathy which will make you feel the same childish and sweet emotions.
The music video for “Times of My Life” will be released on Youtube on Monday, December 9. THÉA and her band will be celebrating the release with a gig that same day at the New Cross Inn in London.
