Veteran Hip Hop and R&B producer Timbaland has confirmed via Instagram that he will be releasing previously unheard material from Aaliyah. After admitting that he is constantly asked whether he is holding any unreleased songs from the artist behind the 1996 album One In A Million, Timbaland proceeded to announce that a “sneak peak” of such material is on its way to the public.
Aaliyah tragically died aged just 22 on the 25th of August 2001, when her plane travelling back from the Bahamas after a video shoot crashed. No dates have been set in stone for the posthumous releases as of yet. Yesterday however, Timbaland shared a couple of pictures of Aaliyah (including the one below) on Instagram along with the message to “Stay tune!!!!!!“.
