This Halloween I dressed up as a zombie doctor and served drinks to obliterated customers at my local bar job, Tobias Jesso Jr. on the other hand put on a Sasquatch outfit and performed two fantastic covers to hundreds of his loyal fans. I think he won Halloween. Performing at Hollywood’s Fonda Theatre, the Vancouver pianist and his band Duk blared the theme for the “Ghostbusters” into the mic, much to the satisfaction of his fans.
A silly little ditty, but a treat nonetheless with the impressive horn section deserving much of the praise. He then took to the mic one more time for another cover, this time being Outkast‘s “Hey Ya”. Other than rising to fame within the indie music scene due to his latest album Goon receiving a lot of attention, the Canadian musician has also been kept busy working with Adele on her upcoming album 25.
