Émilie Rambaud, the brainchild behind ULTRAROMANCE, is back with a bold new single entitled “Basta Ya”. Serving as the lead single from her upcoming third EP, “Basta Ya” continues her work in rhythmic, feminine indie pop with Franco-Anglo-Spanish influences. This electrifying anthem makes one thing crystal clear: today, the power shifts sides.

With urban rhythms inspired by pop and hip-hop, ULTRAROMANCE crafts a bright sonic landscape filled with retro keyboards, brass instruments, and powerful female voices.

The song delivers a message that’s both fierce and hopeful-a rallying cry against patriarchy and oppression while championing emancipation and social justice.

To give more power to the song, ULTRAROMANCE collaborates with Suski, a Nepalese rapper, and the feminist choir Nos Lèvres Révoltées. Their voices are imbued with the spirit of the Chilean collective Las Tesis and their global protest anthem “Un violador en tu camino”. Together, they deliver a powerful message against violence toward women and for equality.

A music video and acoustic live performance were shot alongside the release in Kathmandu, Nepal, further underscoring the universality of the song’s themes and global collaboration in its creation.

Her previous releases like “Traffic” and “La Peau” invited listeners into her introspective world of personal and collective power. On “Basta Ya”, she expands that vision: an intimate sound landscape coupled with anthemic energy meant to inspire and uplift.

Get ready to be moved by the song “Basta Ya”, a tune that amplifies not only Émilie Rambaud’s artistry but also hope and strength for the fight for justice.
