UNDERCOVER and Nike have revealed their latest collaboration for this summer. After the first teaser at Paris Fashion Week, now we can have a closer look at the upcoming collection in a red, green and black colourway.
The sneaker utilizes the vintage Daybreak silhouette from 1979 and plays with texture and proportion in a big way, merging suede and nylon on the upper, with a car spoiler-like detail jutting out of the shoe’s heel. UNDERCOVER branding is present on a speckled midsole, while Nike branding can be seen on the tongue tag.
Previously, The Japanese brand and Nike revealed this model on Instagram in another look – the yellow and black colorway. The photos, which you can see below, show detailed shots of the leather lining, TPU plastic heel counter, and branding on the midsoles and heels.

The new three colorways of the remixed runner feature in the issue’s ongoing Selections segment, where we are privy to a look at the vivid green and red colorways, as well as a more pared-down black version.
