UNIQLO Unveils New Manga-Inspired UT Collection | Fashion News

Japanese fashion retailer UNIQLO is known for their collaborations with brands, artists and creators to enrich their UT (UNIQLO T-Shirts) collections, offering its customers the most amazing and unique designs.

After collaborations and limited editions created with the likes of Billie Ellish and Pokemon, the big brand have teamed up with the popular manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for its latest collection.

The award-winning manga series has already sold 80 million comics worldwide and it is considered to be one of the best anime of the 2010s, as well as one of the most popular franchises ever; together with UNIQLO, they have designed a two-sets manga-inspired unisex collection.

The two-sets UT collection will be dropped across the coming months and unique designs. The first one will have six graphic tees that portray Tanjiro Kamado, one of the most important characters of the series. Other pieces, by contrast, will illustrate the main villain in the series Muzan Kibutsuji, together with other characters from the franchise.

The first set will be available on the website from September 10 in Europe and on the 14th of September in the US, while the second set will arrive from October in both markets.

Both of the sets will be full of unisex t-shirts and accessories, including towels and bags, while only the second one also features kids T-shirts.

Every piece will display illustrations from the manga, phrases and words of the series, images of symbols and colourful designs with the main characters in their signature action pose. Some drawings are also taken from the upcoming anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, to be released on October 16.

This incredible and original collaboration and line will be well appreciated by the manga’s fans, because it portrays the essence of the manga, in which humans and demons fight each other.
