American band Eagles of Death Metal was playing at the Bataclan to an audience of roughly 1,500 people when the attacks in the theatre took place in Paris. That Friday night, the 13th of November, the theatre was just one of the several coordinated terroristic attacks that took place in Paris, and the lives of 89 rock fans was taken. For the first time since the event, the band has spoken out about the tragedy and the loss of staff members Nick Alexander, Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez. The interview will be released next week on VICE.COM and will address what happened that night, who were the people they lost, and what we should all do next.
