Vienna Ditto, genre-bending duo from Oxford, have released their fun new music video for “Ticks”. The video shows two puppets engaging in everyday routines, performing, and getting into mischief. The Muppets-style characters represent band members Hatty Taylor and Nigel Firth.
According to Firth, the catchy tune is “a twitchy paranoid song about having your identity stolen by a friend”; the lyrics that most represent this are: “mirror mirror steal my face once more / I’m gonna have to tear you off the wall”.
“Ticks” is the title song from Vienna Ditto’s upcoming EP which will be released on May 13. Pre-order the seven-song collection here, and watch the music video below:
