The Mountain Between Us is a 2017 Action/Adventure/Drama film starring Kate Winslet, Idris Elba, Beau Bridges and Dermot Mulroney. It is directed by Hany Abu-Assad (best known for Paradise Now, Omar and The Idol).
The synopsis for this film via IMDb reads: “Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across the wilderness”.
