For many movie fans, a new Quentin Tarantino movie is high up on their lists of most anticipated films of the year. It says something about his status as one of the great filmmakers of our time, that he can get us feverish with anticipation over a film whose screenplay leaked online and has already been read by many, whose main stars include Jennifer Jason Leigh and Kurt Russell – not exactly renowned for their box office pulling power.
The other six members of the hateful posse are Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen and Demian Bichir, with Channing Tatum rumoured to be making an appearance too.
Now, the first proper trailer for The Hateful Eight has arrived and it is as awesome as you would expect from Tarantino’s second attempt at a Western, following 2012’s magnificent Django Unchained.
