We sure hope you are getting in the holiday spirit even though December is still two months away and so does Disney. In fact, the studio is keen to lend a hand by releasing another trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is a heart-warming family tale, taking place in space.
The new trailer offers a first look of Mads Mikkelsen’s Galen Erso, father of our protagonist Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), who is recruited by the Empire to work on their new weapon. Jyn, on her side, enlists in the Rebellion, which hopes to gain access to the plans of project ‘Death Star’.
Alongside Jyn we will see a new group of rebels who include the sympathetic captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and his companion, a K-2SO droid (Alan Tudyk), Donnie Yen’s touching Chirrut Îmwe, a blind samurai/Jedi-like figure, a gruff Wen Jiang as his loyal friend Baze Malbus, as well as former Empire pilot Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed).
This time around we see a bit more of Forrest Whitaker’s troubled Saw Gerrera and the fans will surely appreciate another sneak peak at a familiar black helmet, back in the time when its bearer was in peak form. Gareth Edwards‘ film will make its debut on Friday, December 16 and while you are counting down the days until the big event you can also check the trailer below.
