Finally there is going to be an event that delves into the talent exploding out of Sweden!! That’s right a brand new festival taking place in February of next year entitled Where’s The Music is an event that comes with two simple but extremely valid purposes, one being the obvious factor which of course is the music with the aim of having new artists in focus presented to a curious and excited industry ready to garner support and new projects. The other purpose is that this festival/conference/showcase is to have a comprehensive program that will explore subjects relating to the mysterious, competitive and magical world of the music industry.
Where’s The Music will take place in various public locations in a unique area called Industrilandskapet that is in the central part of Norrköping and will showcase an array of international music highlighting Sweden for what its best know for (sensational music). As well as this, there will be lectures that will be presented by music industry stalwarts, who will share their stories and experiences. The combination of the two will make a platform for networking, where the national and international music industry will exchange experiences and ideas, discover new artists and find new collaborations through networking.
