A brand new film is on its way and the cast is getting more and more interesting! For the upcoming movie titled Pierre The Pigeon-Hawk produced by Exodus, three new personalities have been added to lend their voices to the movie.
Snoop Dogg, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson are joining the cast. Will.i.am is reportedly playing the lead role as Pierre, with Snoop Dogg playing a squirrel named Scratch, and Hudson as the Ophelia the owl. All three artists will be lending their voices to the soundtrack as well.
The three new cast members will be working alongside stars Jennifer Coolidge, Luis Guzman, Evan Ross and Ashley Simpson. They will also be bringing their artistic talents to the musically-driven movie, which will be soundtracked by Paul Blair who is also known as DJ White Shadow.
The comedy movie is about Pierre, played by Will.i.am, who has quite a special physique and background. The bird was born out of love between a hawk played by Whoopi Goldberg and a pigeon played by Howie Mandel.
Being from two different worlds, Pierre has been rejected by both communities. He decides to find his own real family, for that he goes on an adventure to makes some new friends. His journey of self-discovery shows Pierre how to put forward diversity, inclusion, and community.
Pierre’s new friends Ophelia, Scratch, and Sniff who will be played by Keenan Thompson are all going to accompany Pierre on his adventure and find new friends, and try to change mentalities. The movie should be fun as well as educative as we can read the premises.
Nowadays, learning and teaching about diversity is essential so we are looking forward to hearing more about the film. The movie is directed by John D. Eraklis and we do not have any release date yet, but we should expect more information on the premise and even a first trailer soon.
