Nay-sayers may disagree, but Gal Gadot‘s portrayal of the 5,000-year-old goddess princess proved to be spot-on and exciting.
Although the film has received critical reviews that comment upon its story, use of CGI, and overall pacing problems, no one can deny the awesome powerhouse that is Wonder Woman. Though her role is limited somewhat to the very end, with a brief stint appearing side by side with Bruce Wayne, what screen-time she does have is to die for. This, once again, makes one wonder why it’s taken so long to make a Wonder Woman movie.
Slated for release in 2017, Wonder Woman will fully establish the history of the character and her purpose for fighting the good fight.
