Exciting news for X-Men fans as Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm have been casted! Director Bryan Singer took to his Twitter to announce the lucky young talent who bagged the sought after roles. Game Of Thrones starlet Sophie Turner will be taking on the role of a young Jean Grey, Tree Of Life actor Tye Sheridan will play Scott Summers aka Cyclops and television actress Alexandra Shipp will be performing as Storm!
These are some great choices from Singer and the casting team. Turner already has a strong, well deserved fan base after her ongoing performance in the brilliant Game Of Thrones and Tye Sheridan has proved his talent in titles like Mud. Alexandra Shipp is mostly known for her television roles in House of Anubis but with a role in Straight Outta Compton and bagging this huge character, I think Shipp is going to become quite the leading lady in the not too distant future!
With Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender returning in their roles as Mystique, Magnito and Charles Xavier and Oscar Issac playing the villain, this movie is going to be huge. Watch it at theatres from May 27, 2016!
