YXL Ayo, YXL Trev and J Kaz came together to deliver the Afro fusion track “Wine”.
Raised in the seaside town Skegness, Lincolnshire, YXL Ayo is a UK artist with Nigerian origin who plays with Trap, R&B and Afro-Fusion.
Being the leader of the creative group Young and Living, YXL for short, YXL Ayo doesn’t refrain himself in a unique genre, he put together his Nigerian heritage with his British RnB and Hip-Hop sound to propose artistic pieces of art.
Ayo’s background started as DJ back to his university days where YXL come to life, he continued his journey to finally found his signature sound and became the artist he is currently.
Ayo made several appearances on BBC introducing music, Reprezent radio and also West Side radio.
YXL Ayo displays 2 sold out show on his board including one at the O2 academy in Islington, the audience being attract by the movement, the lifestyle, and the mindset.
Self produced by YXL Ayo himself, the track “Wine” is already being announce as a summer hit. For the single, Ayo has recruited Caribbean Dancehall artist J Kaz along fellow YXL member YXL Trev.
The title is a pure mix of Afro-Fusion, Dancehall, Pop and R&B sharing with the listeners an unforgettable experience that will push them to ask for a longer summer season.
The track shows each artists own colours, confirming their belonging to the UK’s Afro-Caribbean music scene.
