The anonymous DJ ZHU has scouted the musically talented land of Australia, collaborating with the incredible voice of indie band Vancouver Sleep Clinic and rocker Daniel Johns. “Modern Conversation” is one of many tracks in ZHU’s Genesis Series. A catalogue which facilitates a new collaborative track each week for the past month.
This latest track consists of heavy bass wallops, incredible vocals from the vocally agile Tim Bettinson, making hitting those high notes seem like a doddle, atmospheric synths and one hell of a a glorious guitar solo, which sounds like it’s come straight out of an American 80s cop drama. ZHU claims he wanted to feature artists from Australia on this track as this is where he achieved his big break.
