Cannes ‘Un Certain Regard’ Jury To Be Presided By Uma Thurman | Film News

 

It was announced today in Paris that Uma Thurman will preside over the jury of Un Certain Regard at the upcoming 70th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

 

The actress, who has a career spanning more than 20 years, has delivered noteworthy performances in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill volumes 1 and 2 and has worked with a wide range of auteurs. Her next project will be with director Lars Von Trier, starring in his upcoming film The House that Jack Built.

 

Thurman had already been a member of the Cannes jury in 2011, the year it was headed by Robert De Niro. Un Certain Regard prizes will be announced May 27.
