Jennifer Lawrence Donates $2 Million To Her Local Hospital | Film News
Even though she got paid less than her male co-stars in American Hustle, it’s nice to know that Jennifer Lawrence is giving something back. The Oscar winning actress has donated $2 million to fund the creation of The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Children’s Hospital.
An entirely new wing will be built in the hospital, which will feature private rooms for children recovering from a number of procedures, including open heart surgery and those placed in intensive care. Lawrence has been visiting hospital staff and patients for the past 3 years, before she put her hand in her pocket. Way to go, J Law.
