Creed is a continuation of the Rocky Balboa franchise that sees Sylvester Stallone return as Balboa, acting as a mentor to Michael B. Jordan’s character, the son of Balboa’s former nemesis Apollo Creed. Creed has been performing well both critically and commercially in the US and in an interview with the Associated Press, Jordan said “A character so rich as this, and the world he’s in, I want to see what happens to him next and what he does”.

So Jordan appears keen to play Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis again. Creed is directed by Ryan Coogler, who also directed Jordan in Fruitvale Station. Warner Bros. have not yet offically announced any sequel plans and Creed can be seen in UK cinema from January 15, 2016.
