Michael Beach Joins Cast Of ‘Aquaman’ | Film News

After months of rumours, Michael Beach has officially been confirmed as joining the cast of Aquaman. Variety writes that “Beach has been cast as Jesse Kane, part of a group of high-seas hijackers who has a fateful interaction with Aquaman“.

The film, which is already mid-way through filming in Australia, stars Jason Momoa in the lead, who had briefly worked alongside Beach on Stargate: Atlantis. Aquaman boasts a rather stellar cast as Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, and Willem Dafoe will also appear in the long awaited epic. James Wan directs.

Michael Beach is most known for his TV work, notably ER, Sons of Anarchy, and The 100.

Beach had previously teased about his involvement in this venture when a fan asked if he was playing Black Manta’s father; Yes or no … correct!” he answered.

Whether there is a connection between Jesse Kane and Black Manta is still a mystery, and for now we will have to be satisfied with just a name and career.

Aquaman is due for a December 21, 2018 US release.
