New ‘Frozen’ Short Film To Be Released In Spring 2015 | Film News
It has now been announced that the spring of 2015 will see the release of a short movie entitled Frozen Fever. The film is set to be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and is set to feature four of the most prominent characters from Frozen: Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf, and I’m sure I won’t be alone in hoping that Sven also returns to the screen. The short is also reported to feature another song from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, writers of the music for the original Frozen film, which fans can only hope will be just as good as the original stunning soundtrack.
Disney have released information about the short film stating that, “in ‘Frozen Fever’, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk”. I personally am not excited to see that Elsa’s powers are still causing problems, as the end of the movie tied everything up rather nicely, but if they do it well, it could be something quite fantastic. What do you think? Let us know if you are excited about the new short film, or if you think it will fail to stand up to the magnificence of its predecessor.
