It was a well known fact that there would be a third Johnny English film. The only question for a long time was when. Now this question has been answered with Universal Pictures dropping the trailer for Johnny English Strikes Again. To be honest, this is kind of the secret agent film that we want to see. At least it is really fun to watch.
In the beginning, Johnny English is in retirement of being an agent and teaching at a school. When he gets a letter that his country needs him because all other agents got exposed of course he jumps directly into action to once again save the day. Considering we know what he’s like, this doesn’t go as smoothly as you would expect from a secret agent. After all, it’s still Johnny English and not James Bond.
Rowan Atkinson stars again as Johnny English. He is accompanied in the cast by Emma Thompson, Olga Kurylenko, and Jake Lacy. The film will hit theaters later this year.
