The Beguiled is a recently-released drama/western starring Elle Fanning, Angourice Rice, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Colin Farrell. It is directed by Sofia Coppola (known for Lost In Translation, Marie Antoinette and Somewhere). Judging from the video material released so far it seems that this film is really intense.
A synopsis for The Beguiled reads: “At a girls’ school in Virginia during the Civil War, where the young women have been sheltered from the outside world, a wounded Union soldier is taken in. Soon, the house is taken over with sexual tension, rivalries, and an unexpected turn of events”.
