Award season is definitely heating up, less than 24 hours before the Golden Globe nominations drop (December 10), nominations for the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have been revealed. Anna Farris and Anthony Mackie were invited to read the full list of nominees at the Pacific Design Center in L.A. on Wednesday.
The 2016 SAG Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Saturday, January 30, 2016. More than 110,000 SAG-AFTRA members selected the 2016 nominees, and final voting begins Wednesday, December 16, and closes on Friday, January 29, with television icon Carol Burnett receiving the SAG Life Achievement Award.
While there are some snubs (Tom Hardy’s impressive performance in Legend and the Jennifer Lawrence vehicle Joy), the list still manages to deliver a few pleasant surprises. Check out the full list of nominees below:
