The last time Eminem recorded his own work in studio was last year, when he released his tenth album Kamikaze. The project set off a confrontation with Machine Gun Kelly that continues to this day, while also featuring the Slim Shady boss taking shots at Joe Budden and Tyler, The Creator, among others.
Earlier this week, 50 Cent, talking on LA radio station Real 92.3, revealed that a reunion with Eminem is on the cards, and that the two rappers are working together on something new. As he said: “he sent me a record now, he working now. He got some things man. Still the highest-selling rap artist in the world. We’re doing it now”.
It is not sure if this new collaboration will feature on a new Eminem album, since 50 Cent didn’t share any other information. On the other hand, Eminem recently shared a tweet in which he left some cryptic information to his fans: “People think they want this problem ’til they get it“.
Furthermore, other speculations have been made since a mysterious video appeared on the rapper’s Youtube channel, entitled “The Real Slim Shady” with 4 minutes of jazz music and a still image. There is no doubt that more information will arrive soon.
