The Dead Ships have announced the details of their debut full length LP CITYCIDE which will be due for release on June 24 via Nevado Music and the album is now available to pre – order via Itunes. The release will follow the EP 1, and will include the singles “Company Line” as well as “Big Quiet” which was at the top for five weeks on KROQ’s local’s only.
This week, the band have recently shared their new single, “First Mistakes” which you can find below. The Dead Ships have also announce several tour dates in Californina opening for The Cult and festival shows. The band have gained rave reviews including Entertainment Weekly commenting: “Sounds like The Strokes if they’d reinvented themselves as a folk punk band”. As well as the LA Times stating: “Their tuneful charisma separates them from the legions of garage-rock imitators”.
