Donald Glover, also known by his stage name, Childish Gambino, is set to appear in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film will be released next year. However, there is no confirmation of which character Glover will be portraying.
Glover already has ties with Spider-Man, as he briefly voiced the Miles Morales character, a second incarnation of the web-slinger, in the animated Disney series, Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors. Glover has joined what is shaping up to be a solid cast, which includes Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya in a key role.
