Ben Mitchell is set to return to Albert Square following his stint in prison. The troubled Mitchell left the Square in 2010 after handing himself into police by admitting he killed Heather, and his father Phil has recently found out that Ben has been released from prison. Producers at the show will be looking for a new actor to play the role of Ben which Joshua Pascoe played for two years from 2010. Ben will return to the soap towards the end of 2014. Some people believe that Ben being released from prison may relate to Lucy Beale’s death. With his daughter, Lexi living in the square and former mother figure Shirley it will be interesting to see how Ben copes.
