New talent, Natalie Farrell releases her soulful debut single, “Exhale.”
Farrell, based just outside of Brooklyn, cites influences as Amy Winehouse, Hayley Williams and Janis Joplin to mould her sound and it can definitely be heard on this pop-soul track. “Exhale” is an easily listening, blues guitar driven song with a bright and summery feel.
Farrell establishes her strong contralto voice that compliment the groovy cut ebbs and flows in “Exhale.”
Speaking about her new single, “Exhale,” Farrell explains: “Exhale” is about taking a moment to stop and reflect,” shares Farrell. “It’s about being thankful for your surroundings and the people in your life that mean the most to you.”
“Exhale” is definitely is a confident debut from Farrell and and is definitely one to watch out for over the coming year.
