Hailing from Bristol and breaking the mould with their fusion of sounds, Dr Meaker are back with a brand new track titled “Right Back” which is to be released on July 14 via V Recordings. For this creation they have recruited the stunning vocals of Sian Evans to accompany the group on what is sure to be a Summer jam. They have already racked up plays and recognition from the likes of Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw and Mistajam amongst many others, and have have the track labeled by BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford as “smash of the week”.
“Right Back” mixes dirty bass with soul and promises to be the soundtrack for the summer, and to put Bristol “Right Back” on the map. They are mixing Drum and Bass with their own unique sound whilst reworking that infamous Camp Lo “Lucini” edit. What is so fresh about Dr Meaker is how they go just as nuts on stage as the audience which creates one massive party when ever they perform, which is why Dr Meaker are what big festivals and arenas are made for. The group have a string of dates all lined up and already begun, in which their amazing sound and stage presence can be seen to the fullest, details of this can be seen below.
