If you are a bit of a foodie or just someone that loves a street festival, then I have the perfect event for you… On Sunday, the 20th of July, the Streets of Carnaby will be overflowing with incredible, fresh and live food creations. Carnaby Street Eat is a free event, and takes place from 11am until 6pm, that’s right seven hours of some the finest international foods around.
What can you expect to find at this one day food extravaganza? Well to start you off, there will be over fifteen global cuisines, thirty of the area’s best restaurants, bars and cafés who will be bringing their dishes and concepts out onto the streets for all to see, smell and taste. There are also going to be £5 taster dishes and on-the-day offers, an array of expert cooking demonstrations that are to be led by presenter, foodie and one-time Celebrity Master Chef winner Hardeep Singh Kohli.
Last but not least, make sure to keep an eye out for the roller skating disco honeys and the Cirque le Soir performers that will be supplying all forms of entertainment throughout Carnaby street, and ofcourse the live music and other forms of entertainment that will ensure you have the most enjoyable day possible. In the words of Hardeep Singh Kohli, “Carnaby has always been the beating heart of independent thinking and with the diversity, quality and range of cuisines available in 2014, all food streets lead to Carnaby”. You can also register on carnaby.co.uk to get yourself a free event guide and entry into a prize draw to win one of five dinners for two. I’m sure I will see you all on the streets.
