Too Rare To Die‘s L Martin dropped the video for his song “Powers“, taken from his highly acclaimed project Pussy Powers which only got released two weeks ago.
For the Trebor Llams-produced track, he teamed up with fellow TRTD member Maine and East London’s best emerging Grime MC Eklipse. It is without a doubt that “Powers” is literally an incredibly powerful release. We’ve got L Martin’s skilful lyricism, Eklipse’s cold and raw Grime bars and Maine’s effortless rap-flow.
About the concept of the Saoud Khalaf-directed visual they state: “The idea behind the video is that L Martin, Eklipse and Maine are buyers and sellers of ‘Powers’. These ‘Powers’ are bought to them by different people in hope of a sale.”
“2 different groups bring a selection of ‘Powers’ to the table but L, Maine & Eklipse aren’t impressed. Eventually Eklipse leads everyone in to a different room where he reveals a duffle bag with what appears to be the powers they have been looking for.”
