We have seen deadly viruses spread through many things. Zombies for example. The upcoming Danish series The Rain gives us another possibility of how the world population can get infected and die: Rain. Simple as that but that doesn’t change its terrifying aspect. If you think about it: When the rain starts spreading a deadly disease who can really be safe?
The show follows two Danish siblings that emerge from the safety of their bunker six years after the rain that killed most of the population. Soon they team up with a small group of survivors to search for any sign of life. Survival isn’t their only problem because after all, they are just teenagers with teenager problems. Even in this world.
The Rain debuts on Netflix on May 4.
