Quentin Tarantino‘s next film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, has quickly become one of the most anticipated upcoming films thanks to its Manson murders backdrop and incredible cast. It now appears that production is close to beginning on the film as we’ve been treated to the first image of stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in costume.
The story takes place in 1969 and finds DiCaprio playing the former star of a Western TV series struggling to make it in Hollywood, alongside his longtime stunt double, played by Pitt. Things get a little more complicated due to the fact that DiCaprio’s character happens to live next door to Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie.
DiCaprio has shared the first image of he and Pitt in costume (below), with the duo looking very 1960s:

The superb cast also includes Timothy Olyphant, Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Scoot McNairy.
It will be exciting to see the images of their characters emerge soon, though it hasn’t been confirmed whether production has begun or if the above image is from pre-production or location shooting. Either way, we do know that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is scheduled to hit cinemas on August 9, 2019.
