South London jazzy sensation Oscar Jerome gives us psychedelic charm in his recently shared video foris latest single “Do You Really” directed by Dashti Jahfar.
The new track finds Oscar at his most socially aware to-date with lyrics that navigate through issues of masculinity and sexuality. With bold yet nonchalant production driving home his messages, it comes as no surprise that it’s been supported by both Jamz Supernova and 6Music.
The track is now accompanied by this woozy new performative video that captures Jerome and bandmates washed in oil-spun visuals, courtesy of Tilly Mint.
Speaking about the clip, Jerome says: “Everyone featured in the video either plays in the band or helped produce the song. We wanted to have fun and be playful with the video and so the concept was based around us existing in alternate funky reality where people bathe in records and wear sunglasses inside.”
The new video arrives just ahead of Jerome’s debut UK tour which includes a stop at Village Underground on September 25, available here. It is his third headline in the capital this year and follows shows all over the country and debuts in New York.
