With the first female Doctor finally on our telly, writers are eager to continue exciting fans with thrilling storylines. Bosses of Doctor Who believe the way in which to do this, is to bring in one of the worlds best and popular story writers JK Rowling.
The current lead writer and executive producer of the show, Chris Chibnall, wants Rowling’s genius mind and input to create an eye-grabbing episode for the series. Shouldn’t be too hard for someone who wrote and created a franchise worth over a billion pounds!
This isn’t the first time Rowling has been associated with Doctor Who. Back when Russell T. Davies and David Tennant were part of the show, Rowling supposedly had a sit down with them however, much to our disappointment, nothing materialised.
This time round Chibnall is openly displaying his eagerness for JK Rowling to jump on board. Stating:
“If JK Rowling wants to have anything to do with Doctor Who, please give her my phone number. I think she is one of our greatest living writers.”
Could we possibly see a Harry Potter-themed Doctor Who episode soon?
