Last weekend, Nigerian pop star Wande Coal headlined a sold out concert at Indigo At The O2 in London, with special guests such as NSG, Maleek Berry, Lotto Boyz, Burna Boy and Wizkid, among others, but before that, last Thursday, the “Iskaba” crooner treated 100 special fans to an intimate live acoustic gig dubbed ‘The Swift Sessions’, which was held at a secret London location, in partnership with Martell Cognac.
Hosted by presenter and DJ Mercedes Benson, the intimate session saw Wande Coal running through his massive hits catalogue, including “Baby Hello”, “So Mi So” and “Ololufe”, among others, backed by a stripped down acoustic guitarist. Martell on their part, kept the drinks flowing all evening, and allowed fans a taste of their brand new Blue Swift cognac through a number of customized cocktails.
There is no word yet on when or where the next iteration of this ‘Swift Sessions’ series will be but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop, and as for Wande Coal, after his sold out UK headline show, he will be releasing a new single with Juls next week titled “Sister Girl”, and if their last collaboration “So Mi So” is anything to go by, then this one is sure to be another banger.
