Coachella season is officially over, and this weekend was full of surprises, probably even more than the first one. Coachella goers were astonished with a jam packed weekend full of mind-blowing surprises from artists Ariana Grande and Tame Impala. In case you missed the livestream, we selected all the major highlights from the weekend.
Let’s starting when Will Smith came out with his son Jaden to sing Jaden’s song “Icon“. It was definitely cool to see someone as iconic (hence the song) as Will Smith. This wasn’t the first time that Will Smith had taken on “Icon.” The actor made a parody of the music video last year, donning a denim jacket, gold chains and a grill just like Jaden did in the original.

Another big moment was the Tame Impala performance that celebrated 420 with a little help from A$AP Rocky, who surprised the audience with his appearence on the stage. They played ASAP’s 2018 single “Sundress“, which samples Tame Impala’s “Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?”. Tame and ASAP also performed “LSD” from ASAP’s 2015 album At.Long.Last.A$AP.

Then Kid Cudi brought out Kanye West to perform some of their greatest hits. The duo performed their Kids See Ghosts tracks “Reborn” and “Ghost Town“, as well as “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” from 2016’s The Life of Pablo. Check out a sneak peek of the performance below.

One of the most emotional moments of the weekend was the closing performance of Ariana Grande, who brought on Justin Bieber to the stage. The pair haven’t been on stage together for two years, so it was a very intense moment for everybody, Justin included. On Twitter, Justin continued showing love for Ariana and the festival itself, saying, “That felt right. Love you.”
