This is more than just a tattoo show. The London Tattoo Convention (LTC) come back for its 15th anniversary edition later this month.
It’s the UK’s biggest tattoo show and it reunites the globe’s 400 most influential tattoo artists for an international competition.
This year, the prestigious tattoo competitions include world-renowned guest judges as Mark Mahoney. he realized severals tattoos for stars as Lana del Rey and Johnny Depp. And he’s joined by leading Swiss artist Filip Leu.
Also, the competition counts a People Choice Award, allowing public to vote for their favorite tattoo artist in advance of the event.
But much more than just a tattoo event, LTC have teamed up with Vans and skateboarding will be featuring heavily throughout the body art event.
Indeed, due to this collaboration, a half-pipe skating ramp has been erected for the convention for its first ever Ramp Jam featuring Vans Europe professional riders, with a masterclass and exhibition from skateboarding legend Steve Olson confirmed as part of the event.
Furthermore, live music will be coming from the likes of The Quireboys, Never The Bride, Hell’s Bells and Urban Voodoo Machine.
Finally, the London Tattoo Convention wants to think about the environment. Indeed, they wanted to reduce plastic usage by providing tattoo artist with eco-friendly products from supplier Killer Ink.
They have also joined Sea Shepherd (an environmentalist group aimed at reducing the Ocean’s pollution) on various future initiatives.
