Pace is an Alternative-Pop band based in London. It was initially formed in 2015 by singer-songwriter Adam Pavlovcin and pianist composer Adrian Cermark, and then in 2017, the duo was joined by Lorenzo Calvo on guitar and Chris Eleos on drums. The four-piece band delivers distinct sound palette featuring soulful vocal with high falsetto melodies.
Inspired by genre-bending and avant-garde music, Pace invites the listener to the edge between alternative and popular music. They blend ambient and airy guitar lines, dramatic piano parts and orchestral drums with native harmonium sounds and experimental synth bass.
After performing at Brighton Pride’s LoveBN1Fest, 2000Trees Festival in Cheltenham, the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and as an opening act for Grace Carter, the band is now ready to present their debut single as a full band line-up. It’s a kind of new beginning for their artistic career.
Titled “Hunt Me Down“, their first single was released on October 18. It’s an enchanting track with Adam’s smooth, deep and warm voice perfectly blent with this rhythmic but soft production. It’s unique.
Speaking about the song, Adam says, “This song was one of the many we wrote, but it feels special as it was originally written on an old harmonium Adrian bought for almost nothing at a random flea market.
It has its spirit and it gave me a new inspiration to write this song about facing our own fears in life, rather than suppressing them and leaving them unspoken and behind. Because they never disappear just like that. We have to be brave enough to face them and work on them, otherwise, they’ll silently Hunt Us Down”.
