Boh Doran is an indie retro pop singer-songwriter taking influences from 90s alternative indie, soul and RnB. She likes to combines angelic vocals and pop hooks that stay in your head.
She attended production school after her first EP release and started composing and singing for film and TV, as well as singing background vocals for artist such as Dua Lipa. But now, she has decided to produces her own music. And to do it well, she’s working alongside collaborators in LA.
Boh’s first solo release “White Knuckles” was #7 most viral song on Spotify’s global charts. And she has been hailed as an artist to watch by Glamour, Italian Vogue, Radar Online, Kings of A&R, The Burning Ear and other tastemakers.
Boh Doran is now back with a new track titled “Magic”, which was released on October 18. She describes the song as, “Magic is about that zing you get when you realize your connection with someone. There is an innocence to that period of time, its not too serious and not so co-dependent. And when it’s truly magic, it graduates into something more substance, like it did for me. This song encapsulates that early time and feeling“.
