Rising British songstress Holly Abraham has unveiled the third single taken from her upcoming debut EP. Moody and compelling “Landslide” is considered as Holly’s “best song this far”.
Hailing from Wales and currently based in Bristol, Holly Abraham has attracted the attention of fans and critics with her outstanding vocal talent. Often compared to the likes of Bon Iver and Of Monsters And Men, the singer is on her way to become a new indie folk sensation.
Last year, during a trip to Australia and Cambodia, Holly gained confidence and maturity as a solo performer and discovered her authentic signature sound. The artist joined forces with Stian Vedoy, a Norwegian music producer and member of indie-pop duo Firewoodisland, which resulted in two critically acclaimed singles, “Shore” and “Refined in Fire”.
The young singer received support from BBC Introducing in the West, as well as such blogs as Substream Magazine, Nü Sound and American Pancake. Her songs were featured on many independent music playlists, including Indie Folk Central, and amassed over 50.000 streams on Spotify.
Now, the up and coming artist is back with another single preceding the release of her debut EP. Describing her latest tune Holly says, “’Landslide’ is about the beauty that can be found in starting again. When familiar things shift and change, it can often be perceived as a disaster, but ‘Landslide’ reminds us that sometimes the greatest things in life come from the process of undoing, then rebuilding from the ruin”.
