Quiet Blue, aka Nic Gorgiou, is an up and coming singer-songwriter from Melbourne. Discover his moody electronica blended with hints of soulful jazz.
He’s influenced by folk legend Sufjan Stevens, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bon Iver and Bright Eyes. His style has developed to blend traditional acoustic instrumentation with electronic ambience to sonically build raw and cinematic atmospheres.
In 2019, Quiet Blue has released singles “For A While” and “Likeness Of You” which both built upon his distinctive style and sound. His unique style of folk inspired electronic music has been described as Matt Corby meets Honne, with shades of Bon Iver throughout.
His latest track “Thinking It Over” has been released on October 28. It showcases Quiet Blue’s charming voice, layered with deep emotive synths and catchy guitar riffs.
He has said about it, “Thinking It Over is a song about timing. Sometimes we take relationships for granted and think that we can do things on our own, but when we realise, it is already too late”.
